5. Found this while looking for whatever I heard about dry kibble (a relic of WWI for military dogs behind enemy lines, btw) being about the same as eating dry pasta.

   My cat just died from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) that was partly from a steady kibble-heavy diet, and also not cleaning out all parts of the water dishes and fountains. I didn’t know before that they will sooner dehydrate themselves than drink contaminated water.

   When I opened up the pet water fountain and pulled out the spinny part held in magnetically, sludge was hiding in there 🤢

   For my fur family, I am now learning to make their food the primary source of their hydration by going raw.. ❤️‍🩹So much to learn, and when we know better, we do better,
